Armenia Files Comprehensive Inter-State Complaint Against Azerbaijan at ECHR
On July 27 of this year, Armenia submitted a new comprehensive inter-state complaint against Azerbaijan to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). This was reported by the Armenian Representative on International Legal Affairs.
The complaint refers, among other issues, to the violations of civilian rights as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression towards the communities of Kramort and Parukh in the Artsakh Republic in 2022. It also addresses the real threats posed by Azerbaijan to the residents of border villages in the Artsakh Republic, as well as incidents involving the use of force against the peaceful population of the Artsakh Republic by Azerbaijani armed forces during 2021-2022, which resulted in violations of the right to life.
