Yerevan Mayor Files Lawsuit Against Ishkhan Saghatelyan
The Mayor of Yerevan, Hrachya Sargsyan, has filed a lawsuit against Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Supreme Body, demanding administrative accountability.
Sargsyan has approached the court regarding an administrative violation stipulated in Part 1 of Article 180.1 of the Administrative Violations Code of the Republic of Armenia. The aforementioned article defines that organizing a gathering without legally notifying the community leader or violating the conditions of notification results in penalties for the organizer or leader of the gathering, amounting to 100 to 300 times the minimum wage.
