Will Pashinyan Apologize to Hrayr Tovmasyan? The Decision is Known
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not apologize to the former President of the Constitutional Court, Hrayr Tovmasyan. The Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Ani Mkrtchyan and consisting of judges Levon Grigoryan and Arman Kurekhyan, has accepted Pashinyan's appeal, overturning the decision of the first-instance court, reports 'Factinfo'.
Recall that during a press conference on January 25, 2020, Pashinyan announced that 'from May 2018, initially on a daily basis, then weekly, and later monthly, Hrayr Tovmasyan offered his services.' Tovmasyan had given the Prime Minister 20 days to present evidence.
Pashinyan published a photo of a pen on his Facebook page, which he claimed was gifted to him by Tovmasyan. Following the publication of this 'evidence' by Pashinyan, Tovmasyan filed a lawsuit, demanding that Pashinyan be compelled to refute the defamatory information and apologize for offensive statements.
