Alen Simonian Sends Delegation of Ruling Party MPs to Istanbul
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, signed an order on June 15 to dispatch a delegation to Istanbul.
The order states:
“Guided by Article 5, Part 5 of the Law on the Guarantees of the Activities of Members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and Article 209 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia, I order:
- To send members of the National Assembly Hasmik Hakobyan, Tsovinar Vardanian, and the Chief Specialist of the International Organizations Department of the National Assembly Staff, Zabela Ghazaryan, to participate in the works of the Inter-Parliamentary Union conference dedicated to migration issues in Istanbul (Republic of Turkey) from June 19-22, 2022.
- The Head of the National Assembly Staff, V. Naribekyan, to cover the expenses related to the trip, including travel costs, daily allowances, and accommodation expenses, according to the documents confirming the actual expenses, from the resources allocated to the National Assembly from the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for this purpose, considering the requirements of the order K-127-A issued on May 1, 2018, regarding the organization of business trips for members of the National Assembly and employees of the National Assembly Staff.
