“We could not reach the level of organization that the government could not resist” – Sagatelyan

Today, during a press conference organized in a park adjacent to France Square, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ishkhan Sagatelyan responded to the question of how they plan to achieve regime change. He stated that what they have done during this period should serve as the foundation for constructing the next phase of their struggle.

“We had tens of thousands of citizens during the days of protests, but we could not reach the level of organization that would allow us to form a structured, regular civic army from the citizens participating in our rallies, which could carry out acts of civil disobedience to the extent that the government could not resist. We must strive to reach a point where law enforcement agencies cannot oppose the public and report that the situation is no longer manageable. All the grounds for this exist. We need to move in that direction,” said Sagatelyan.
