EU Finalizes Sixth Sanctions Package Against Russia: What It Includes
The EU has officially approved the sixth sanctions package against Russia, which includes an embargo on oil. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a statement from the alliance.
The main component of the current sanctions package is the gradual phasing out of Russian oil and petroleum products over six and eight months, respectively. Additionally, a temporary exemption will be made for oil supplied via the Druzhba pipeline.
