VIDEO: Snow and Blizzard in Gegharkunik Right Now

Snow is falling in the Gegharkunik region. Auroranews.am has received videos showing that the heavy snowfall is relentless, and everything around is covered in white.

It is noteworthy that earlier the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center had reported that on May 20, especially in the evening hours, a cold atmospheric front is expected to cause a significant drop in temperature across the country.

After noon and towards the evening, rain and thunderstorms are expected in many regions, while in some higher mountainous areas, wet snow is also anticipated. In the Shirak, Aragatsotn, Armavir, Ararat, and Vayots Dzor regions, strong winds are expected, with gusts reaching 20-25 m/s or even more.
