We Have a Clear Stance: Cavusoglu on NATO Expansion

Turkey is not opposed to the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), however, it is against countries that support terrorists. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu during a press conference held in Berlin, according to TASS.

“We are not bargaining; this is not an element of political trade. We have a clear position, which is that Finland and Sweden must completely halt cooperation with terrorist organizations and lift the embargo on the supply of goods necessary for Turkey's defense industry. Turkey is not opposed to NATO's expansion; we are opposed to states that support terrorists,” the minister stated.
