Office of the Third President of Armenia on Reports of Kocharian and Sargsyan Meeting
Robert Kocharian and Serge Sargsyan did not meet. Reports circulated in the media on the evening of the previous day claimed that the second and third presidents of Armenia, Robert Kocharian and Serge Sargsyan, had a meeting where they discussed the potential candidacy for the future Prime Minister and the further course of their struggle, reaching a general consensus.
To verify this information, Sputnik Armenia contacted the office of the third president of Armenia, who responded to the media inquiry stating: "This is misinformation. There was no such meeting. Even if such a meeting had taken place the day before, it could not have reasonably determined the future trajectory of the 'Resistance' movement."
