Armenia-Greece-Cyprus Military Cooperation Action Plan Signed

Today, an action plan for military cooperation among Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus has been signed at the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The information was reported by the Ministry of Defense, which added that consultations for planning trilateral cooperation in the field of defense were held at the ministry's administrative complex.

Based on the agreements reached during the consultations, a bilateral military cooperation program for 2022 between Armenia and Greece was signed.

The signed documents foresee several dozen activities in Armenia, Greece, and Cyprus. These include combat training activities for special forces, peacekeeping, military medicine, engineering, and other fields, as well as experience exchange in various professional directions, information exchange, and military consultations,” the statement reads.

Levon Ayvazyan, Head of the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, presented the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and in Artsakh, emphasizing the necessity of efforts to establish stability and peace in the region.

Attending the consultations were Colonel Socrates Serves, Head of the Military Cooperation Program Planning and Implementation Department of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, Colonel Lucas Hadjikostantinou, Head of the Strategy and Policy Department of the National Guard of Cyprus, and their respective delegations.
