Official Welcome Ceremony for Prime Minister Pashinyan Takes Place
The government delegation led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has arrived in the Russian Federation for a two-day official visit. At Moscow's Vnukovo 2 airport, Prime Minister Pashinyan was greeted by Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, after which the official welcome ceremony took place with the participation of an honor guard, and the national anthems of Armenia and Russia were played.
In the afternoon, a meeting is scheduled between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President Vladimir Putin of Russia.
The leaders of the two countries will discuss agenda topics related to the further development of Armenian-Russian strategic and allied relations. They will also address the implementation of the trilateral statements made by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26.
On April 20, Nikol Pashinyan is also set to meet with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, and Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko.
A visit to Nizhny Novgorod is also planned for the Prime Minister.
