New Details on the Death of Russian Lawyer Found in Yerevan

Russian lawyer Victoria Popova from Yekaterinburg has been found dead in Yerevan. Her body was discovered in the closet of her rented apartment, with the front door locked from the inside. This was reported by 168.am.

The deceased's relatives have requested the Russian Investigative Committee to initiate a criminal case with signs of murder to ensure an objective investigation takes place.

Victoria's body was discovered by an acquaintance living in Yerevan, who had been unable to reach her for a long time and decided to visit her apartment.

“The door was locked. The acquaintance called her and heard her phone ringing from inside, after which she called the police. When they broke down the door, they found her body in the closet,” her friend recounted.
