Losses of Even 90% Are Not an Argument for Them to Stop: Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Ukrainian soldiers for liberating the city of Irpin, located near the capital, Kyiv, from Russian forces. He noted that the adversary continues to be pushed back from Kyiv.

“However, it is still too early to talk about the security of this area of Kyiv region; fighting continues. Their losses, even at the level of 90%, are not an argument for them to stop,” the Ukrainian leader warned.

He highlighted that Russian troops continue to hold the northern part of the region, have the necessary resources and personnel, and are attempting to restore the combat readiness of the units that have suffered losses.
