One Armenian Prisoner in Baku Sentenced to 19 Years, Another to 18
One Armenian prisoner in Baku has been sentenced to 19 years in prison, while another has received an 18-year sentence.
The Baku court has issued a ruling regarding Armenian citizens Ishkhan Sargsyan and Vladimir Rafaelian. Sargsyan has been sentenced to 19 years in prison, while Rafaelian has been sentenced to 18.
They are to spend 9 years in prison, with the remainder of their sentences in a high-security facility.
According to the charges, the Armenian citizens allegedly crossed the Azerbaijani border illegally in May 2021 and mined the supply routes of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense units passing through the territory of Karvachar.
