The US is Fully Confident Russia Will Invade Ukraine, Blinken
The U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken considers Russia's statements about genocide in Donbass to be wrong and offensive, as reported by TASS.
Blinken hopes to meet with Lavrov in Europe on February 24, but insists that military operations must not commence beforehand.
He declared that the U.S. is fully confident in its intelligence regarding Russia's plans to invade Ukraine.
The U.S. is prepared to respond to Russia if it undertakes aggressive actions against Ukraine, Blinken stated in an interview with the television channel Dozhd.
"If there is an opportunity to find a diplomatic way to resolve the situation, I certainly intend to do so, but if we have to respond to Russian aggression, we will," Blinken said.
