Queen Elizabeth II Tests Positive for Coronavirus
Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for coronavirus, as reported by Reuters.
Virologist Viktor Larichev stated that there is no significant threat to the 95-year-old monarch's life due to the COVID-19 infection. Queen Elizabeth II is experiencing mild symptoms.
In a commentary for Moskva Speaks radio, Larichev explained that there is no cause for concern since Queen Elizabeth II has been vaccinated, and the new variant is not as dangerous as previous ones.
“Most likely, her age will have an impact. But I believe everything will go well because she is vaccinated, and Omicron is not as virulent as earlier strains,” he said.
Local media, citing Buckingham Palace, report that Queen Elizabeth II will continue to carry out her duties.
