Lugansk Leader Signs Order for General Mobilization
The leader of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, has signed a decree for a general mobilization.
“A general mobilization is declared in the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic,” states the decree from the LPR leader.
Earlier, Denis Pushilin, the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, also signed a similar order. On February 18, Pushilin announced that the Ukrainian armed forces had been put on combat readiness and were prepared for the occupation of Donbas.
Pushilin stated that Zelensky would soon instruct the military to execute the plan to invade the territories of the DPR and LPR. Since yesterday, the civilian population of Donbas has begun to be evacuated to Russia.
