Germany Threatens Russia: "If Putin Takes Military Action, Sanctions Will Be Imposed"
At the Munich Security Conference, the head of the Defense Committee of the German Bundestag, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, stated that NATO will not respond militarily to any potential Russian military actions in Ukraine.
"Severe economic sanctions are being prepared if Putin takes military action. However, he must understand that there will be no military operations from NATO. Ukraine will, of course, resist. However, there will be serious consequences," she said.
