Robert Kocharian on Relations with Serzh Sargsyan
Recently, the presidents of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan and Arayik Harutyunyan, along with Armenia's second president Robert Kocharian and third president Serzh Sargsyan, met. During a press conference today, Kocharian responded to a question about his relationship with Sargsyan.
“We met with four people and discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh issue. We had a 12-hour discussion on this matter, but we did not address personal issues. We discussed what can be done and what solutions can be found. We are all concerned,” Kocharian said.
Additionally, Kocharian noted that the “Armenia” and “I Have Honor” factions are also cooperating in the National Assembly, although there are issues where they have differing views. According to the second president, despite all the contradictions and the problems accumulated from the past, it is essential to be able to reach agreements on critical issues.
Kocharian added that he does not have special daily communications with Serzh Sargsyan, but if there are issues, they can call and speak with each other.
