Streamlining the Movement Regime of Trucks at the Azerbaijan-Iran Border
The movement process of trucks at the Azerbaijan-Iran border points is set to be accelerated. This agreement was reached during a meeting between customs officials from Azerbaijan and Iran, according to Iranian media reports.
During the meeting held at the administrative building of the Astara customs office, officials from both countries agreed to reduce waiting times for trucks at border checkpoints and to expedite the process of crossing the border.
It is noteworthy that according to officials from both countries, cargo transportation between Iran and Azerbaijan has increased by 62.5% over the past 11 months.
