Auroranews has received alerts from residents of Meghri. They note that barriers are being installed on the Meghri-Agarak road and that the road will be monitored by Russian military personnel.

Citizens say they do not see anything wrong with this for now, but they have fears that everything is being done within "corridor logic" and that Armenia will eventually provide territory for the much-discussed corridor.

Auroranews spoke with the Mayor of Meghri, Bagrat Zakaryan, regarding the issue.

Zakaryan stated that the work is being carried out by the Russians, but he politically qualified the issue and did not respond to whether the concerns are justified about everything happening within the framework of "corridor logic".

It should be noted that information is also being sought from the Armenian government, but so far there has been no success.
