Ankara Does Not Want Armenian-Turkish Negotiations to Take Place in a Third Country
Ankara sees no necessity for the Turkey-Armenia negotiations to be held in a third country. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing a source from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The date for the next round of negotiations with Armenia will be determined by the special representatives of both sides. We want the negotiations to take place in Turkey and Armenia. There is no need to hold them in a third country,” said the agency's source.
The first meeting of special representatives regarding the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia took place on January 14 at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
