Germany Halts Arms Sales to Kazakhstan
German authorities have decided to temporarily halt the sale of military products to Kazakhstan. This information was reported by Gazeta, citing the DPA agency.
According to the agency, German authorities have taken necessary measures to ensure that the export of such goods to Kazakhstan is no longer carried out. No further details have been provided.
It is noteworthy that in 2021, Germany established 25 agreements for the supply of defense products to Kazakhstan, with a total value of 2.2 million euros. Last year, the total volume of arms exports from Germany amounted to 9 billion euros, more than half of which went to Egypt.
