I Don't Need Security Personnel, My Only Income is My Salary from the City Hall - Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan

I will abide by the laws, and all my actions will be within the framework of the law. I mentioned this during my oath-taking ceremony a little while ago.

This was stated by Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan in a conversation with reporters, responding to a question about whether he is also ready to reject calls coming from the top echelons of power, similar to his predecessor Hayk Marutyan.

Regarding Hayk Marutyan, I can say that as far as I know, he has submitted a request to terminate his powers, he said.

When asked if he is ready to refuse security personnel, a driver, and a car, like Marutyan, the mayor responded, “Unfortunately, I do not know how to drive a car. I think I will learn if I have time. My only income is my salary from the city hall; I have no other source of income. And I also do not need security personnel; my daily routine will continue as it has been,” added the mayor.
