The Door is Always Open for Georgia to Join the Discussions, Says Maria Zakharova

The door of the "3+3" format concerning the South Caucasus is always open for Georgia if it decides to join the discussions. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a weekly briefing.

She emphasized that all participants of the first meeting held in Moscow showed interest in continuing joint work. "The decision on the location and agenda of the next meeting takes place through coordination among the foreign policy agencies. It is primarily important to focus on issues related to common interests. These include trade-economic, transport, humanitarian-cultural connections, and issues pertaining to the fight against common challenges," noted Zakharova.

The diplomat added that the door remains open for Georgia to join the platform.
