VIDEO: "Stop with the cheap stuff". Suren Papikyan did not answer journalists' questions

After the meeting of the Board of Trustees at Yerevan State University, where the sole candidate, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, was elected rector, Suren Papikyan, who has become the chairman of the Board, quickly left the building accompanied by a large group of bodyguards.

Suren Papikyan did not answer questions from the media. When asked what instructions he received for the meeting with the Azerbaijani Minister of Defense, Papikyan replied, “Stop with the cheap stuff.”

In response to the question about where democracy went, as they stood and talked to journalists for hours, Papikyan commented, “I only speak with journalists, go away,” indicating that those asking him questions were not journalists.
