Çavuşoğlu Discusses Border Issues with Iran's Foreign Minister in Tehran
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held talks in Tehran on Monday with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. According to the Mehr News Agency, Amir-Abdollahian received him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building. This marks Çavuşoğlu's first visit to Tehran since Abdollahian's appointment as head of the foreign policy agency.
Earlier, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Said Khatibzadeh had indicated that the agenda for the ministers' meeting would include issues related to border problems and the management of jointly utilized water resources.
