Anahit Avanesyan on Andranik Kocharyan's Mask-Wearing Behavior
“Laws, orders, and legal acts are not to be interpreted as something to be applied or not applied at will. If they have already been approved and come into legal force, they are mandatory for all citizens of the Republic of Armenia on an equal basis. No official position or status can act as an exception or in such circumstances. Therefore, Mr. Kocharyan, I believe, will continue to wear a mask, and everyone else in this situation must comply with the rule and wear a mask,” said the Minister of Health in a conversation with journalists.
Recall that during his visit to Yerablur, member of the ruling party Andranik Kocharyan was again seen without a mask. When asked by his colleagues why he was not wearing one, he responded, “I’m doing fine.” To the question of whether she had spoken with Andranik Kocharyan to at least admonish him, Anahit Avanesyan stated, “I don’t think there’s a need for admonishment, and Mr. Kocharyan will adhere to the mask-wearing regime.”
