A child with a tail has been born in Brazil. The information was reported by the British Daily Mail. It is noted that the child's tail measured 12 centimeters in length and ended with a spherical mass of 4 centimeters in diameter. Doctors have surgically removed the tail and the mass.

It remains unclear whether the tail was removed at the request of the child's parents or for medical reasons. Additionally, it is not known if the tail caused any discomfort or health problems for the infant.

The child's tail was not visible during the mother's pregnancy, and doctors only discovered it after the child was born. It is mentioned that all newborns develop a embryonic tail between four to eight weeks into pregnancy, but it typically gets reabsorbed into the body.
