Baku Discusses Cooperation with Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Iran, and Turkey: Hajiyev
Baku continues to engage in discussions through diplomatic channels with partners regarding the establishment of a "3+3" regional cooperation mechanism involving the three South Caucasian republics—Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia—as well as Russia, Iran, and Turkey. This was reported on Thursday by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs.
“This format will establish directions for further cooperation in the region. Currently, communications are occurring through diplomatic channels on this occasion. In general, Azerbaijan supports this process,” he stated. “We are ready to continue our discussions based on this format and create a new mechanism: a platform for regional cooperation.”
