The Importance of Unblocking in Shaping the Security Environment in the Region: Armen Grigoryan
On October 22, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Helene Sand Andresen, as reported by the Office of the Security Council of Armenia.
At the beginning of the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on issues related to the bilateral agenda and expressed their willingness to further expand this agenda and fully realize the cooperation potential.
Ambassador Helene Sand Andresen particularly emphasized that democratic values, human rights, the rule of law, education, and energy security are the areas where Armenian-Norwegian relations can further develop.
The parties addressed issues related to regional security and stability. The Secretary of the Security Council stressed the importance of unblocking as a necessity for creating a secure environment in the region.
Both sides highlighted the role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship in the comprehensive resolution process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
