Perhaps the one who ate the least kebab was offended and took a picture, throwing it to the press: Assistant to the candidate from the ruling party
To be honest, my expectations were much higher, but the final word belongs to the people. We must be content with what the people have given us. This was stated by Aram Mirzoyan, the assistant to Davit Ghulunts, the candidate for mayor from the ruling Civil Contract party in the Tegh community, in an interview with NEWS.am.
It should be noted that Ghulunts won the elections held the day before, receiving 1,530 votes.
Regarding reports from the media that people were brought to the elections in the Tegh community, guided, and that money was in their hands, Mirzoyan said: “For the entire staff, for all those people, they ordered barbecue, food, and juice. Naturally, you have to pay for the services provided. This is about that episode. Perhaps the one who ate the least of that kebab was offended and took a picture, throwing it to the press. Regarding the transportation issue, I specifically coordinated everything. I am the head of the staff, but I did not instruct anyone to put someone in a car and guide them. For example, my parents came on foot; I wasn't there. Everyone has cars in the village. I wouldn't say that there were coordinated transports. There hasn't been a person to go and guide someone, to say, ‘Will you get in my car and I will take you to vote for this person?’”
