Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to Officially Visit Turkey
The parliamentary delegation of Georgia, led by the chairperson of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, will officially visit Ankara on October 18-19. This was reported by the press service of the Georgian Parliament, as conveyed by 'News Georgia'.
During the visit, an annual trilateral meeting among the representatives of the foreign affairs committees of Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey will take place in Ankara. The parties will discuss the agenda of trilateral cooperation, challenges in the Black Sea region, and opportunities for strengthening regional cooperation.
Bilateral meetings are also scheduled with the Speaker of the Turkish Parliament, the head of the Georgia Friendship Group, the chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and other committee members to discuss issues regarding Turkish-Georgian strategic partnership and deepening relations between legislative bodies. According to the press service, this will be the ninth meeting of the representatives of the legislative bodies of the three countries.
