Opposition Does Not Want a War Inquiry Commission to Be Established, Says CP Member
“The revelations from the 44-day war are necessary for both the government and society. We need to understand what happened, as many questions remain unanswered to this day. The ruling force must do everything possible for the work of the war inquiry commission to begin as soon as possible. I am hopeful that the questions concerning our society will receive their answers,” said Vagarshak Hakobyan, a member of the Civil Contract faction, in an interview with 24News.
Regarding the question of how constructive the atmosphere will be in the inquiry commission between the government and opposition, as it seems that such an atmosphere has not formed in the Permanent Commission on Defense and Security, the MP noted: “I think our opposition does not want the inquiry commission to be established. We need to understand why; perhaps the answers to many questions are not convenient for them, or it may become clear that certain figures they consider opposition have some connection to the 44-day war.”
