How Did Azerbaijani Armed Forces Advance 70 km? Arthur Vanetsyan
Until June 20, no one would have thought that one of the regions of the Republic of Armenia, Syunik, would be closed off by Azerbaijani police, isolating it from Armenia for three days. This was stated by the head of the National Assembly's 'I Have Honor' faction and former head of the NSS, Arthur Vanetsyan, during a broadcast on 24news.am.
Vanetsyan raised a question about how it is possible that Azerbaijani forces advanced and closed off the interstate road of the Republic of Armenia in the Syunik region after the ceasefire. 'The black and white of the well-known statement from November 9 clearly says that the troops remain where they were at the moment of signing the ceasefire. I assure you that the Azerbaijani armed forces were at least 70 km away from that segment,' said Vanetsyan.
