Azerbaijani Forces Impose New Restrictions in Vorotan Area
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Azerbaijani forces have imposed new restrictions in the Vorotan area of the Goris-Kapan highway. They allow vehicles to pass through that section only at specific times. This information was disclosed to our reporter yesterday by the spiritual leader of the Goris region, Father Aharon Melkumyan.
"They only allow cars to pass through at one o'clock. Vehicles gather until the hour is up, and then they pass through the checkpoint under the escort of Russian peacekeepers," he stated.
"Yesterday, I intended to go to Vorotan to bless the monument of a heroic martyr, but I realized I was ten minutes late. By the time I arrived, they had already allowed passage, and I was forced to wait for fifty minutes until the hour was up," he added.
