No MP Has Yet Refused the Bonus: Press Secretary of the National Assembly President
By the order of National Assembly President Alen Simonyan, members of the National Assembly, state employees of the National Assembly staff, and other workers have been incentivized with a one-time cash bonus on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Armenia's independence. MediaHub.am reports.
Since early morning, MPs have been informing that 381,420 drams have been transferred to their accounts. At the same time, the ruling faction has not made a single mention of refusing the bonuses or redirecting the funds to any program.
In a conversation with the news outlet, officials from the parliament stated that the bonuses are being provided to the staff of the parliament by the decision of the National Assembly President.
Press Secretary of the National Assembly President Alen Simonyan, Tovinar Khachatryan, informed that no MP has yet submitted a request to the accounting department and has not refused the bonus.
“In addition, I should mention that funds have also been transferred to the ‘100 Homes for Artsakh’ program on the occasion of Independence Day,” noted Khachatryan.
