VIDEO. We announce the suspension of "Radio Aurora" broadcasting in Artsakh
"Radio Aurora" announces that it is suspending its broadcasting in Artsakh. Since 2015, "Aurora" has been broadcasting on a 100.7 frequency for the Armenian population of Artsakh and for soldiers stationed at the border, without pursuing commercial profit. The goal has been to provide the local community with Armenian-language information.
The radio station has covered significant events for our compatriots and soldiers in Artsakh, including the April 2016 War and the 2020 44-day war, up until the bombardment of the station’s broadcasting site by the enemy in the fortress city of Shushi. Although the radio station managed to resume broadcasting shortly afterward, "Aurora" is now suspending its broadcasting in Artsakh due to legal uncertainties and the regular disruption of the frequency by Azerbaijanis.
