Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Kazakhstan to Conduct Exercises in the Caspian Sea
In early September, Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Kazakhstan will conduct military exercises in the Caspian Sea. According to "RIA Novosti," this was announced to reporters by Sergey Yekimov, the deputy commander of the Caspian Fleet.
"Immediately after the completion of the 'Sea Cup' competition, we will carry out joint exercises that will involve naval forces from Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. For several days, we will develop joint operations here in the Caspian Sea," Yekimov stated, as quoted by the press center of the International Army Games.
