Hail Expected in Certain Regions of Armenia: What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days
Attention: In the Ararat Plain and its foothills, the foothills of Vayots Dzor, the valley areas of Syunik, and Yerevan, a high fire danger situation is expected in the Republic on July 23-24, and on the 27th in certain regions. On July 28, significant rainfall and thunderstorms are anticipated in most regions, primarily in the afternoon, with hail possible in some areas.
From July 25-26, dry weather is expected. Winds will be from the southwest at 5-10 m/s, with gusting winds of 18-23 m/s expected during thunderstorms.
The air temperature is expected to decrease by 2-3 degrees Celsius during the day on July 23, and on July 24-26, it will gradually increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible after noon on July 23, and intermittent rain and thunderstorms are expected on the 28th, with wind gusts of 18-20 m/s during thunderstorms. No precipitation is expected from July 24-27.
