Armenian Heritage Party to Appeal Constitutional Court Decision at ECtHR
The Armenian Heritage Party will appeal today's decision of the Constitutional Court to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). This was reported in a statement from the party.
The statement reads: “In order to prevent the Turkization of Armenian heritage, the Armenian Heritage Party will appeal the decision of the Constitutional Court to the ECtHR.”
It is worth noting that yesterday, the Constitutional Court decided to uphold the Central Electoral Commission's decision dated June 27, 2021, regarding the summarization of the results of the extraordinary elections of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia held on June 20, 2021. The decision is final and comes into effect upon publication.
