Six Contracted Military Personnel Hospitalized After Car Accident, One Dies
On July 10, at around 2:00 AM, a contracted military personnel from the Ministry of Defense’s military unit No. N, driving an Opel Astra, collided with a UAZ Patriot vehicle belonging to another military unit on the 14th kilometer of the Yerevan-Eraqs highway. As a result of the accident, the UAZ Patriot overturned.
Following the car accident, six contracted military personnel were hospitalized with various injuries. Unfortunately, during transportation to the hospital, serviceman Grigor Garniki Harutyunyan died.
An investigation is underway, as reported by the Ministry of Defense press service. The Ministry shares in the heavy sorrow of this loss and extends heartfelt condolences and support to the serviceman's family, relatives, and comrades.
