Café Employee Captured and Kept a Fox in a Cage: Animal Returned to Its Natural Habitat
The Environmental and Mining Inspection Body reports that recently, a call was received on their Facebook page regarding a fox being kept in a cage. Employees from the Yerevan territorial division of the Inspection Body promptly visited the location and discovered the caged fox behind the "Karas" café at 175/1 Khudyakov Street in Yerevan.
The café employee had caught the fox and kept it in a cage for about 20 days. Following explanatory efforts from the inspectors, the fox was transferred to the surrounding area of the Djurjevaz Reserve Park and released back into the wild.
The Inspection Body once again urges the public not to deprive wild animals of their freedom and their opportunity to live in their natural environment.
