VIDEO: A Deal Has Been Made Without Considering the Interests of the Department – Artavazd Sahakyan Appeals to the Government
Hekel of the "Soldier's House," Haykuhi Minasyan has sent a letter to Armen Muradyan stating that no space is being allocated for the department's activities, as well as for the work of doctors, clinical coordinators, and others, meaning that we are being completely eradicated. This was announced today on the Facebook page of Artavazd Sahakyan, head of the plastic, reconstructive surgery, and micro-surgery clinic at University Clinic No. 1 and head of the plastic surgery and micro-surgery department at Yerevan State Medical University.
"It should be noted that this process has been conducted behind our backs, with the permission, agreement, and sponsorship of the rector and together with Haykuhi Minasyan. I am addressing the Prime Minister and the government, stating that a deal has been made against our interests and the interests of the department's employees," said Sahakyan.
He noted that the government believes that Artavazd Sahakyan is the one desiring such actions. "It is written here – it asks for the rector's approval for Artavazd Sahakyan to continue working here as a micro-surgeon," he emphasized.
It is worth mentioning that it has been proposed to construct modern operating rooms in the area of University Clinic No. 1 where the plastic, reconstructive surgery, and micro-surgery clinic is located, establish a laboratory diagnostic department on the first floor of the building, and patient rooms on the second floor.
