Alert: Instructions Received to Mark 'Undesirable' Ballots to Nullify Them
The Electoral Monitoring Committee has received reports that many chairpersons of precinct electoral commissions have received party instructions to make barely visible markings on the reverse side of ballots from 'undesirable' political forces using a pen or pencil, with the aim of nullifying these ballots during the counting process, states a post on the committee's Facebook page.
The Electoral Monitoring Committee calls on voters to carefully examine both sides of the ballot before placing it in the envelope, and if any markings are discovered with a pen or pencil, to request a new ballot package, as well as to report this to the Electoral Monitoring Committee at the phone numbers 060601948 and 099690202.
