Alarm: Party Instruction Received to Hand Ballots to Voters Not in Numerical Order, But First the 'Own' Ballot and Then the Others
The Electoral Monitoring Committee has received alerts regarding incidents where many chairpersons of precinct electoral commissions have received party instructions to hand ballots to voters not in numerical order (1 to 25 or 25 to 1), but rather first the 'own' ballot, followed by the others, the committee reports.
The Electoral Monitoring Committee declares that such a sequence of ballots should be viewed as an attempt to guide the voter. In the event of discovering such a violation, we urge observers and trusted representatives of candidates to mandatory record the violation in the commission's register, citing the CEC decision No. 155 dated 18.06.2021.
