White House Issues Statement Ahead of Erdogan-Biden Meeting
As Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Joe Biden prepare for their meeting on June 14, the White House has released an official statement.
The statement outlines the agenda for the anticipated meeting. U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan noted that the leaders of the two countries will specifically discuss issues related to the eastern Mediterranean, Syria, Iran, and Nagorno-Karabakh.
The meeting is set to take place in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the NATO summit. Erdoğan and Biden will also address U.S.-Turkey bilateral relations.
