Wherever They Go, We Will Find and Bring Them Back: Kocharyan on Current Officials

“Wherever they go, we will find and bring them back. In this regard, rest assured.” This was stated by the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, who leads the ‘Armenia’ alliance, during a meeting with residents of two districts in Yerevan and representatives of staff, in response to a question about what measures will be taken to prevent the exit of so-called traitors from the country.

“People should answer for what has happened, and that answer should come through justice right here in the Republic of Armenia. No matter where they run, we will grab them by their skirts and bring them back. When you occupy the highest office in the country for a long time, you must always align your emotions and feelings with the rule of law. In such cases, there is always a struggle between politics and legality. We should not act like this current government, and in the struggle between politics and legality, legality must win. Both the state and the people will benefit from this,” he stated.
