Prisoners and War Will Persist Until the Enemy Receives a Counterpunch, Hovhikyan

Journalist Nairi Hovhikyan wrote on his Facebook page regarding the capture of 6 Armenian servicemen in the Vardenis area.

“The Azerbaijani side has captured 6 Armenian servicemen in the Vardenis region this morning. This has already been officially confirmed by the Ministry of Defense. Can you imagine, the enemy has entered the territory of the Republic of Armenia, and not only is he insulting and beating our brothers, but he has also started capturing them. All of this is happening because the Armenian defenders are prohibited from shooting or capturing the enemy.

The number of Armenian prisoners is increasing solely due to the incompetence and dark dealings of the Armenian authorities, while we continue to beg for peace, fearing the threat of war. Prisoners and war will remain as long as the enemy has not received a counterpunch.

There are numerous options for retaliation; let me mention one: to encircle and detain the Azerbaijani detachment of 250 soldiers located near the Black Lake,” wrote Hovhikyan.
