‘That Facebook Should Be Closed,’ Says My Step Deputy

Every morning, our citizens log into social networks, particularly Facebook. By the way, that Facebook should either be closed altogether or some kind of mechanism should be introduced to find a solution. This was stated by My Step Deputy Artem Tsarukyan during a parliamentary session.

Referring to the panic prevailing in the current information environment, the deputy noted that media representatives are very irresponsible, spreading false information, and very often, officials from different branches of power deny each other within thirty minutes.

‘This is a disgrace. You urge people to follow only official news, but the person responsible for official information is blatantly spreading lies. As long as you do not solve this issue, you are encouraging the spread of misinformation,’ said Tsarukyan.
